What it’s also helped us to do is to actually pinpoint what those difficulties were. We knew there was a slight difficulty, but it’s allowed us to pinpoint so we can hear it more, because before there were reluctant readers you didn’t always get to hear them.
I think the biggest thing I’ve seen is that the children in Year 2 and Year 3 are just more confident. They enjoy it, they like to come out and read, they’re excited to do it. So it’s had a massive impact on their attitude to reading, that’s where I’ve seen the biggest impact and outcomes.
